Faith Venus Hi Gloss Natural Series Concert Cutaway Electro Acoustic

Faith guitars are an amazing alternative to the big name brands at a mid-range price point. They feature solid tops and solid back & sides as well built in electronics and a hardcase. The Venus body style is slightly thinner than you might expect without any compromise in tone. You get a warm lower midrange and clear highs in a guitar that is comfortable when playing long live gigs.

Here's what Faith say about the Venus Hi Gloss Cutaway Electro

While the Venus Hi-Gloss's highly polished lacquer compliments the Solid Engelmann Spruce soundboard, it brings the Solid Rosewood back and sides to life, highlighting the tonewood's natural beauty. This glossy exterior helps create a tone that is brighter than the Natural series, yet still retains a satisfyingly versatile aural range.

The Venus shape has been a favourite since its launch back in 2001, giving a great tonal performance yet remaining manageable and comfortable for those long, marathon sessions.

This FVHG Electro model features Shadow's acclaimed NanoFlex pickup technology plus the Shadow SH863 premap system, and is also available in the Natural Series (FV).

All Faith Natural and Faith Hi-Gloss models are supplied complete with a Faith Hard Case.

Received my Faith Venus FVHG today. A lovely looking guitar, set up with a medium action and very comfortable to play. I've been using a Yamaha LL6 which I love but it's a bit too big to play all night long.

After tuning up to concert pitch, I set about playing a selection of songs. I'm absolutely amazed at the wonderful tone from this smaller bodied guitar. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be able to compete with the rich bottom end tones of the Yamaha but it exceeded all of my expectations. I then put the guitar through a Peavey Bandit as I usually mic up my acoustic guitars directly into a PA and was very pleased with the tones I was able to achieve even with this Rock biased Amp. I can't wait to try it through a proper acoustic amp to compare the difference. The Venus is a pretty and pleasing to the eye guitar, with a great sound and a dream to play. Build quality and a great finish jumps out at you. If you haven't tried one of these, then give one a trial at your music store..... you won't be disappointed.
