The Mercury Parlour Hi-Gloss soundboard is crafted of Solid Engelmann Spruce which has a protective Hi-Gloss lacquer to ensure a lasting lustre. The back and sides are constructed of Highly Glossed Solid Rosewood, which helps produce a bright, zingy tone.
The Mercury Parlour shape is a classic, much favoured by Folk and acoustic specialists, offering a unique sonic and tectile experience - and now it can be enjoyed by even more people at one time thanks to the fitting of Shadow Electronics' SH863 Preamp and Nanoflex Pickup system.
The Mercury is also available as a regular Acoustic in the Natural Series (FM)
