There is more than meets the eye to the Dean Razorback Explosion.
The most important think to notes is that this is a players guitar. Dean have a reputation for making solid guitars and the razorback is a workhorse, it will stand up to any almost any abuse you throw at it. You could probably even throw it through a drumkit and it would still stay in tune.
I initially had some problems with the licensed Floyd rose bridge, a case in which a nut has came a loose and the tremolo arm had sawn off whilst I was playing it, therefore you may want to check the configuration of the tremolo system or service your guitar regularly, ensuring that the arm mounting nut is properly secured.
Though this guitar looks overtly metal, an arsenal of the most professional hardware allows players so much ground on which to diversify and experiment with new sounds.
You could be churning out thrash riffs one moment and rolling out some glassy jazz then next; this guitar will sound great in either scenario.
The sounds projected by this guitar are almost as intimidating than it's price tag.
In the bridge position we have a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker, a pickup made in honour of the fallen Pantera shred hero. The Dimebucker sports intense high output sounds that are great for more agressive playing that are well suited to heavy and fast riffing, dealing extremely rich harmonics and impeccable sustain. Switch to the neck pickup and you are running through a custom wound Dean humbucker, this pickup is better for more chunky sounding rythm parts and warm, glassy clean tones
The specifications of are this guitar make the guitar play, sound and perform as sharp as it looks.
