Fender Deluxe Stratocaster Ash Body

The Fender Deluxe Strat has all the good looks & classic feel of a an American Strat, but with some really cool extra features. The most obvious difference is in the electronics - the Deluxe Strats use Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups - these sound just like top quality single coil pickups, but without the hum you get on an ordinary single coil pickup. You also get the S1 switching circuit which gives you 10 pickup combinations as opposed to 5 on a regular Strat. The machine heads are the locking style which makes tuning better & string changes super fast, plus the trem system uses polished chrome saddles - these just look nice! The headstock & logo also have a "Deluxe" look to them & the abalone inlays really finish the guitar off. The Ash body version is exactly that - it's made of Ash rather than Alder. Ash is popular as the grain is nicer looking than Alder, and it also weighs a little less.
