The Fender Squier Strat is the worlds biggest selling guitar. This Squier SE Strat beginners pack comes with an SE Strat and a Squier 10w Amplifier. The Squier SE Strat is a slightly thinner and more basic version of the Squier Affinity Strat, and the Squier 10w amp is a little smaller and therefore not as good-sounding as the Fender Frontman amp that comes with the Affinity pack. That said, this is still an excellent value pack ideal for any beginner aged 12 years old and upwards.
If you're looking for other stuff to add to this pack, then a really good addition is a multi FX pedal. These come with dozens of different preset effects and will enable the player to dial up all sorts of new and cool sounds through the amp. Multi FX units start from under 30 pounds and work perfectly with this set up. Please note that in order to hook up a guitar pedal you will need two guitar cables - you only get one with this pack, so remember to buy another one when you order the FX unit!
