Ibanez is the guitar of choice for many of today's rock & metal guitarists.

Featuring a slimmer neck and higher output pick ups than the Squier Strats, the Ibanez GRX70 allows you to play faster & rock harder!!

The guitar is a very similar build quality to the Squier Affinity but whereas the Squier is "Classic" looking the Ibanez is much more contemporary. The amp that comes with this pack sounds pretty good too & features both clean & distortion settings.

The accessory pack is fantastic value with an electronic tuner and a gig bag included as well as all the basic bits like a lead and strap.

The only thing you don't get with this pack is any kind of tuition book, so make sure you buy one of these separately if it's your first guitar. If your kind of music is fast and loud then the Ibanez pack is right up your street.

I recently bought one of these packs for my son. Having two Ibanez guitars myself I was keen to check out something a little cheaper for his christmas present. The guitar feels and sounds great and is a great first guitar for him, he's finding it easier to pick up after his initial lessons on an acoustic. The amp sounds great and is not too loud if you are a parent who doesn't want to be deafened ;-)

Im only 13 years old and i was looking for a good guitar to start with, so when i visited the shop i had a choice between a Squier or the ibanez, when i played this with my band, it was the right feel, i could get use to moving up and down the neck swiftly and managed to play a good solo at a music event at my school. this has good action, feel and sound and would strongly recommend this to a young guitarist who wants to play rock and metal.
