Split your guitar signal and play it through two guitar amp and effect signal chains at once. Purchased this pedal from andertons which again was shipped to me within 24 hours. I am not usually one for using multi effects units but with the recording potential built into this unit i decided to give it a go. The Amp models and effects on this are great and was surprised at the latency free recording when connected via a pc/laptop. Still yet to gig this live but i will be doing that next month. Thanks again.

I'm still yet to fully fiddle with this item, however all of the preset sounds are good and very varied, great item if you just want to have some fun on your own or playing in a band.

I have been a POD user for some time now - first with POD 2.0 than an XT Live and now I have upgraded to the X3 live. This is an awesome bit of kit coming in much lighter and more compact than its predecessor. As soon as I plugged it in I found that nearly all the pre loaded tones were really good and inspiring. Unlike the XT live it comes pre loaded with the full range of Line 6 Amp and Effect models.Plus you can access all the Pod Farm tones and user tones online. The unit seems better made all round to me one major improvement being the on/off switch under the toe of the Wah / expression pedal. The only down side for me was the ease of use I found it a little complicated to get into especially when connected to a PC using the Gear Box interface but Im sure younger players out there will find it a breeze. With the dual tone concept it is a really versatile unit and as I have already found with the XT live why carry a back wrenching amp to gigs when all you need to do is pop a guitar over your shoulder and pop this little beauty into a gig bag and you are ready to rock All in all a fantastic unit with some killer sounds for a reasonable price and quite a professional piece of kit
