Rickenbacker 4003 Stereo Bass
The Ricky 4003 Bass is one of the all time classic guitar designs. It's instantly recognisable by both its shape & its sound, & that's why so many bass players use them.
The Rickenbacker factory is based in LA & in recent years all LA based manufacturers have had some pretty stringent regulations imposed upon them regarding factory emmissions as the LA state governors try to reduce the smog above the city. Rather than move or change the classic way in which Rickenbackers are made, the Rickenbacker company have just decided to make less guitars! This has caused an unbelievable back order situation, with guitars taking over a year to arrive once the order is placed.
We've placed large orders for all the popular Rickenbacker guitars, but in order for you to get one, you'll probably have to place an order with us & just get in the queue. We'll regularly update you as to when the next available stock will be - but don't hold your breath! And just in case you're wondering, the colour Fire Glow is the classic red sunburst that seen on lots of famous old Ricky's.
Here's what Rickenbacker say about the 4003 bass
