Fantastic bass and great value .i had been looking for a five string for a while now and the Ray 35 fitted the bill perfectly. The low B is very tight and floppy unlike a few BIG name basses I've played . It's very hard to tell the difference between the Ray 35 and the top of the range stingray 5 , I borrowed my mates for a while and TBH couldn't tell the difference except maybe the electronics are not as sophisticated but I I use a sadowsky preamp into a markbass amp so that's that sorted.

All in all these basses are a steal at the price and I'm seriously thinking of getting a 4 string as well and if they bring out a Fretless version I will be in bass heaven .

Check one out they are terrific.
