This is an excellent piece of kit that has provided me with hours of both learning and enjoyment and the algoriddim software (available from iTunes) is amazing value. For this price level the construction of the unit is more than adequate although if taking it on the road I think it would require handling with a modicum of care as it is predominantly made of plastic. It does however feel sturdy enough. The connection to your iPad 1, 2 and 3 is straight forward enough however connection to an iPad 4 will require the use of a Lighting to 30 pin adapter which when slotted in place prevents the user from being able to close the rear access door and fully secure the iPad in place. I guess Numark will need to address this somehow. I have noted a few users ( iPad 2 and 3 as well as 4 users) just rest their iPads on top and within the aperture of the device so as to reduce the hassle of removing an iPad case or cover and also making removal simpler when their playing session is complete. I guess this could also be considered as a work around for the iPad 4 if you don’t want to modify the rear door somehow. Let’s see what Numark come up with for iPad 4 owners

The iDJpro is a great little 2 channel self contained unit. It really does bring the "djay" app by algoriddim to life. For the price mark its a solid peace of kit even though being pretty light in weight. All in all if your looking for a 2 channel dj ipad controller then this is probabily the best on the market at this price.
