Good starter cymbals - as far as I can tell out of the box they sound pretty ok - much better than the sheets of metal that come with a packaged kit. Box can temporarily double as a carry case for the cymbals too...

i have had these cymbals for a matter of hours now, but i can already tell that they are well woth buying if you are a drummer on a budget, or even just looking to replace the starter cymbals from your first kit.
The ride is clean, and has the 'ping' you expect from a more costly cymbal, the crash has a fast decay, great for use as a fast crash, or 2nd crash on more advanced setups, and the hats deliver a great chick sound, but are more suited to rock and contemporary music, dabbling into a bit of jazz with these hats, they didint sound as good as i thought they would, but...they didnt really cost the earth.
overall, these cymbals are awesome for the price. i urge anyone who has started drumming to buy these cymbals, as they are going to sound so much better than your starter cymabls, and for not much more than the cost of all the kitkats' that MP's claimed on expenses.:)
