Tested against a huge array of competing compressors, this pedal wipes the floor with them all. Keeley Compressor Features/Technical

The Keeley Compressor is a superb-sounding clone of the original Ross grey compressor, and features true bypass switching.
Controls are simple with Sustain, Level, and a footswitch.
Robert Keeley uses only tone-tested audiophile-grade components in this compressor, resulting in an ultra low-noise studio grade effect unit that surpasses the tonal performance of the original.
Battery powered, an Ibanez/Boss DC power input jack is fitted, together with a Keeley trademark blue LED!

PLEASE NOTE: As all of the Robert Keeley pedals are hand built, each one may vary very slightly in looks.

Ths pedal does what the reviews say. Rounds off and evens out your guitar sound. It is the missing link that a lot of players are looking for. I use it from Guitar to Vox V847 Wah-Un-modded TS808-Keeley Comp-Boss Keeley DS-1- valve combo

II did look at cheaper options but based on the reviews I had read, this seemed the best. I have not used any other compressor pedals so I don't have anything to compare it with but what I can say is that it fattens up the sound, increases sustain and evens out the volume over the strings when playing chords. Very pleased with purchase.

A top notch product (which is reflected in the top notch price tag). It's a lot to pay for a pedal that seemingly makes such a subtle difference...but to me thats the point. I could go into all the different tones,settings etc,etc, but there is a mountain of stuff on youtube about that. The bottom line for me is excellent build quality, excellent sound and worth every penny.

After looking at lots of Compressor's lookimg for "That sound" I decided to buy a Robert Keeley 4 knob pedal. Although I live 300 miles away from Andersons Music shop, I have always had top service, info and delivery, and their prices are always "on the money".
The pedal is and has improved my sound, on all guitars, I have a 72 Gibson Les Paul from new, and two Strats, but the clean attack has livened up my old guitar, and I am completly satisfied with every part of the deal.

The pedal is and has improved my sound, on all guitars, I have a 72 Gibson Les Paul from new, and two Strats, but the clean attack has livened up my old guitar, and I am completly satisfied with every part of the deal.

I have been searching for some time trying to find the right compressor for me, i have read many articles and reviews and decided i should go for the Keeley 4 Knob unit, i used the on line purchase option with Andertons Music and it arrived very quickly,, i used it on my next gig and it did not disappoint, i am very pleased with it, the range it has is perfect for me... i use a USA Fender HSS Strat, through a DR Z MAZ 38 watt.
i would recommend anyone looking for a compressor to seriously consider the Keeley. well worth the money.

awesome, I tried a few of the old favourites which did the job ok but after talking to a few people and reading some reviews I was persuaded to go for the Keeley comp pedal. At this price I had high expectations and to be perfectly honest they were exceeded. I ended up playing non stop for an hour just enjoying the difference this pedal made. It has a clarity to the sound that other well known comp pedals seem to steal. This is one pedal that will stay switched on in my board.
