Keeley Fuzz Head Guitar Pedal

Robert Keeley puts his heart and soul into this utterly unique, hand built overdrive/fuzz. No machine factory lines here!

Constructed using only high end array parts, it has been designed with complete attention to detail. This is the best, most toneful pedal range available.

Competing pedals are good, but the Fuzz Head by Keeley is better!

After 10 years experience repairing Pro Audio equipment, Robert Keeley definitely knows his stuff.

The design and quality of this pedal is second to none, with only the best possible selection of components included.

Each pedal is carefully put together (with a 12 hour build time!) and then thoroughly tested to make sure that it gets to you in perfect working order.

The Fuzz Head is used by (these are just a few!) JOHN RICHARDS. Dave Manko, Jon Herrington of Steely Dan/Bette Midler, Pearl Jam.

Keeley Fuzz Head Features/Technical

  • The new boards have an internal tone control! Have the best of all fuzzy-overdrive-lead boost pedals.
  • This pedal after a BD-2 is a fantastic lead boost tool. Gotta BD-2? Try the FUZZ HEAD for your lead boost after it. Leave the BD-2 on, then just fire up the Fuzz. You'll be amazed!
  • With this setting, you'll have enough volume gain, and overdriving a Fender Twin is even possible!

PLEASE NOTE: As all of the Robert Keeley pedals are hand built, each one may vary very slightly in looks.

This is really more of an Overdrive than a pure Fuzz. As such it covers a lot of ground but its neither one nor the other. It has the major benefit of not being sensitive to signal chain location unlike most Fuzz pedals. However, I could not find enough Fuzz in it and so returned it.

I bought this pedal because I was looking for this Interpol- like crunch. (Daniel Kessler has one).

The Keeley Fuzz Head is an awesome pedal. You can get everything from crunch to distortion from this pedal. It is solid as a rock.

I use it with a guitar with P90 pickups, a bit of gain. You can increase the volume to push the amp.

Also, being able to replace the caps (provided by Keeley) for different tonal preferences is a big plus.

    This pedal is highly recommended!
