BOSS FV-500H FOOT VOLUME

Industrial-Strength Power Pedals

For fourteen years, the famous BOSS FV-300 served as an industry-standard volume pedal. The tradition continued with the FV-50 series, but today the bar has been raised with BOSS's new FV-500H (high-impedance) and FV-500L (low-impedance) pedals. These tank-tough diecast pedals are designed to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. The pedals offer a new stylish design, a road-tough build, and a comfortable, smooth action. Both models also provide an Expression output for use with expression-compatible amps, effects, and even synthesizers.

Features

  • - Heavy-duty aluminium die casting body
  • - Ultra-smooth pedal movement for the utmost in comfort and control
  • - Adjustable pedal feel (torque)
  • - Pedal rubber is for comfortable play and non-slip action
  • - Expression pedal function
  • - Convenient tuner-output jack

I was looking for a volume pedal that was well built, and very transparent. This pedal delivers both these qualities and much more! The adjustable volume control is incredibly useful for dialling in the taper of the pedal and the size of the pedal means your foot rests comfortably on it, giving you more control for volume swells etc. I've gigged the pedal a few times now and i couldn't be happier. There's a reason why boss have always been the industry standard for volume pedals.

I bought 2 of these for use with a TC electronics G-system.

These are so easy to set up with the G-system if you have the correct cables. (Must be a y cable 1 stereo-2 mono to work on the G-system)

Great solid piece of kit and really sturdy and you can set the tension of the foot controller to your personal taste aswell.

I was torn between these or a ernie ball junior pedal but I am more than happy I went with these boss pedals.

Build like a tank, noiseless and generally great. It can also be used as an expression pedal and has a separate "out" for your tuner and a minimum volume level. Just make sure it will fit on your pedalboard as it's a bit on the large side.
