BOSS DD-3 DIGITAL DELAY

Pro-Quality Delay in a Compact Pedal.

A powerful delay pedal with three distinct modes. A variable Delay Time control creates delays from 12.5ms to 800ms, while a Hold function is capable of producing repeats from here to infinity.

Another high quality product from Boss. Typical solid brick like high build quality. Allows delays up to 800ms which is more than enough for me (if you need more there's always the Boss DD-7) and it won't add any unwanted signal impurities to your tone. The hold function which repeats the delay indefinitely is great for creating loops to play solos over.

Typical Boss product, does what it says on the tin.

Its very easy to use but if it were significantly harder it would be worth the effort because the results are very good indead.

The DD-3 is very clean, it has a wide range of varying time and feedback, without actual colouring or adding anyhting thats not wanted.

I've had the DD3 for 3 years now and I really can't fault it. Though it is a digital delay, i does have and analog feel to it. It does smoothen out the tone, wich isn't a bad thing in most cases I guess. I now run it through an other amp, so I get the Delayed signal in one amp and the dry signal to the main amp. It really is a great pedal for the price. I now Joe Bonamassa uses it and I've heard, though i'm not sure, that the chip used in it is the same as the one Cornish uses in his delay Rack unit.

As I said, I've had it for 3 years and not a problem, so, is it reliable? Yes.

    Hope that was helpfull!
