The box is solid and well made with steel corner covers, and should take quite a beating.
It also has a good strong handle which should hold up a long long time, very portable.
The in-house 12" speaker is perfectly adequate, but you can drive any cabinet you like with 8 and 16 ohm choice.
Very versatile connections - effects loop switchable either -10 or +4 levels, headphone out, emulated speaker out.
I'm not sure how useful the line level input is. It also comes with a foot switch. There's nothing left out.
The overdrive channel is magnificent over the range from clean to completely overdriven.
The tube harmonic distortion is very rich, you can really make this amp scream!
Even better, you can make it scream at a volume level about as quiet as the unamplified guitar.
If you crank it up, this little 5 watt amp is also surprisingly loud.
The clean channel has only a basic tone control but also sounds sublime. This is the only weak point on this amp, but there isn't enough space on this small box to put any more.
However, the presence of the effects loop allows for external tone control, so this isn't a serious drawback.
The amp circuitry is absolutely quiet.
The "Infinite Shape Feature" is an interesting passive equalization circuit.
You can read about in UK Patent Application GB 2446188 A.
It simply varies the amp's centre attenuation frequency in the filter network without any effect on the signal amplitude.
It does work well, and shifts the overall tone characteristic of the amp in the way they claim.
This essentially gives you a stack of different amp tones in one box.
This amp sounds great and most importantly if you have neighbours, it sounds great even at the quietest volume.
It's hard to believe that such a fantastic sounding combo amp can come in such a small box, but they've done it.
