Blackstar HT60 Soloist 60 1x12 Combo

The "HT Venue" Series of amps is the latest great design in Blackstar's line of amps. These medium-priced, medium-powered amps deliver performance that is every bit as pro as their premium Series One line. If you need a little more power than the award-winning HT5, or you're too worried to take your beloved Artisan on the road, the HT Venue series is for you! The perfect solution for the working musician.

As you probably know, Blackstar are famous for being able to create highly versatile tube amps at incredible prices. Most amps in this price range do one thing well, but the HT Venue amps deliver lush cleans, and great British & American drives effortlessly. Just check out the range of tones the Venue series can achieve in the video demo of the Stage 60 (the 60w 2x12 in the Venue range) below.

The 60 watt 1x12 is big, bold and clear with enough power for larger stages, but can still get sweet tones at pokey-basement-gig levels. Two footswitchable channels, an included 4 way footswitch and built in reverb and FX loop make this amp easy to manipulate tonally with precision.

Here's what Blackstar say about the HT Soloist 60 Combo

Whether you're looking for that classic British 'woody' tone or a tighter, more aggressive American sound, Blackstar's HT Venue Series delivers it all - and more. These tube equipped amps are packed with innovations and tone and versatile enough to deliver pure boutique cleans and ripping overdrives in one portable package - making them perfect for the working musician. Thanks to our unique Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) you can dial in the all tone you want, from British to American and anything in between.

If you want every note to be heard, whether in your band or solo gig, the HT Soloist 60 is perfect. This 60W, two channel, 1x12" combo is equipped with 3-way EQ on the drive channel and features our unique ISF tone control and solo boost with Body switch to really get you noticed. Other features include a voice switch for each channel, digital reverb and effects loop. Supplied with a 4-way foot controller.

WOW!! I traded in my Fender HotRod Deville for this - and I am very pleased with that decision. The rest of my band have already commented on how much better the guitar sounds through the amp. I like the matching you can get (GIB - MARSH sound and FEND - FEND sound). By tweaking the sound, there is so much to really hear the voice of each of my guitars.

The sound is clear and chords sound more like 6 notes rather than single sound - clarity is superb!

    This is a true winner!

I mainly play Metal and Blues.

This amp is perfect for both kinds of music. I previously had a Marshall and I am very glad I changed brands. It has the metal crunch that you need for Pantera or Killswitch. And you can bring it right down to play warm bluesy tones like BB King and Clapton.

The clean channel is very good as well with two types of Reverb. I use EMG pickups and they work very well with this amp. I am going to have to sell all of my pedals as the amp does the job of all of them now. For metal you can pinch harmonics almost everywhere with the gain up!!

It is not too heavy to carry either and it has carry handles on each side so that it is practical to lug around for gigs. The price was slightly higher than I was planning to spend but I am glad I spent the extra as it just sings!!

Sounds awesome and ticks all the boxes for someone touring with a Rock, Metal or blues band!!
