The main updates between this and the latest model (MkIII) are cosemetic so there isn't a whole lot you'll be missing out on but you will be saving a HUGE amount on this incredible amp.
Fender Hot Rod Deville 410
The Fender Hot Rod Tube amps are everything you'll need for blues/rock/country sound. With their sparkling classic Fender clean sound, bluesy overdrive sound & singing "more drive" sound, the Fender Hot Rod amps are one of best selling lines. Whilst most players chose the 40w 1x12 Hot Rod Deluxe, some players want a little more power & go for the Hot Rod Deville. The Deville is available in two basic formats - both are 60w & have the same 3 channel preamp section as the smaller Hot Rod Deluxe. However, the Deville 212 has 2 12" speakers & the Deville 4x10 has 4 10" speakers. Both these designs copy the most popular vintage Fender amps, namely the Fender Twin (a 2x12 combo) & the Fender Bassman (a 4x10 combo). The Deville 212 does deliver a bit more bass end, but is not quite as punchy as the Deville 410. Both are awesomely loud - perfect for any player wanting a hi powered crystal clean sound.
