A brillant studio starter kit, easy carry fits in my laptop bag apart from the headphones. I can't believe the quality a lot better than i thought it would be for such a small device. Microphone comes across clean don't have to touch the sound levels to much. I give it a 4star out of 5stars only because there are better products but you would have to part with alot more cash and you wouldn't get it in a bundle. But if you are a novice or are on the move this is affordable and a good bit of kit to own. I would highly recommend for acoustic artists and check out the bigger midi interfaces by focusrite if you need more ports.

Everything you need to start recording straight out of the box - well not quite, there's a number of hoops you have to go through to install and register the freebie Cubase software. The product codes when input had already been used it said, but a quick call to the very helpful fucusrite support desk got me up and running after about an hour of downloading new drivers and associated product keys etc etc. All in all it was not an easy install and I really needn't have bothered as I ditched it rather quickly in favour of Apple's LOGIC PRO which was a doddle.
The suite of goodies in the box however are great quality and although I'm a bit of a novice to home recording I am delighted with the USB interface, phones and condenser mic which are all giving me great results and I'm sure as my experience improves the sound quality will improve also - so all in all no regrets and the usual impeccable sales and service from Andertons, thanks guys.
