Classical guitars are strung with nylon strings, and so are often referred to as 'nylon-string guitars'. they have a very warm and rounded tone that is essential for many styles including Salsa, Flamenco and Classical, nylon-string classical guitars can also sound fanstic for Jazz.

However the most popular use of nylon-string guitars from our point of view is for young or new guitarists who want to learn the guitar on an instrument that's a little easier on the fingers than our steel string varieties of Acoustic Guitar. Because the nylon string or classical guitar is so popular with beginners we even offer it in some smaller sizes: 3/4 or even half size, so that children can start from a young age
