Since 1982, Fender has been producing Squier electric guitars as a low cost brand, initially offered to the Japanese market, then sold throughout Europe and the United States.
Probably most famous for their inexpensive versions of iconic Fender guitars, such as the Squier Telecaster and Squier Stratocaster, Squier guitars have established themselves as a provider of great value instruments, and are played throughout the world by guitarists of all ages and abilities.
Squier have released some signature guitars from famous artists, including Telecasters featuring the name of Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley for Sum 41.
