Randall Smith started modifying guitar amps in California in the 70's. As he hot rodded more and more amps for various pro players, his reputation as an amp guru grew & he decided to started making his own tube amps. Mesa Boogie was born, and to this day Randall Smith remains at the forefront of his design team. All Mesa Boogie amps are hand made in California and are famous for their clever controls, their awesome tone & their excellent reliability. With classic designs such as the Dual Rectifier, the Mark Series, the Lonestar & the Express, Mesa Boogie continues to tb the amp of choice for many pro players, both in the studio & on the stage.
