Fender Highway 1 Jazz Bass

The Fender Highway One Jazz Bass gets you an American made bass, without the American made price tag! How do Fender do this?? The basic construction of the Highway One guitar is the same as on the more expensive "American Series", but Fender have made a few cost savings. For a start there is no hard case with a Highway One, although you do get a decent gig bag instead. You don't get the hand rolled edges on the fret board, but you do get a cool looking '70s style headstock & a Badass II bridge system! The finishes don't have quite the same deep shine that that the more expenive guitars have, but the Highway One is still made from solid alder & plays & sounds just great.
