Epiphone EB-0 SG Style Bass Guitar (Click picture for more detailed view)

Epiphone EB0 SGEpihone are owned by Gibson & that makes them the only Far Eastern guitar manufacturer that can make official licenced Gibson copy guitars. The EB-0 is a classic SG Style bass guitar that became famous in the 1960's. It's punchy Side Winder pickup gives a real rock growl & it's slightly shorter scale length makes it a little easier to play than say a Fender Jazz bass - especially if you're a bit small yourself!

Here's what Epiphone say about the EB-0 Bass

Authorized by Gibson, the Epiphone EB-0 has brought back a classic of the early '60s. Based on the Epiphone SG, this guitar-sized (30 1/2" scale) bass is a great axe for anyone not quite large enough for a full-size bass. Though small and light, its sound is huge, and full-size people can play it too.

I bought the Epiphone EBO on a whim, to try playing a little bit of bass from time to time. I can't believe that they can produce an instrument of this quality at this price. All the components seem to be of reasonable quality and the tones are very useable. My son, who normally plays a much more expensive instrument, is also impressed. My only critism is that the large headstock does make it neck heavy.

Buy this bass for my first gig and it didnt dissapoint me, the sound is quite good, 8/10, the quality 9/10, customer support 10/10. It's easy to play and light too. Just if you like to play slap, this bass doesnt suit it very well. By the way, it such a bargain and grab it before it's too late
