This clever bass cab makes the most of your tone by using four 10 inch speakers in combo with a 1" horn to reproduce thumping lows and detailed highs all in one package. Heavy duty construction and chainable operation means this cab is perfect for the road!
Here's what Ampeg say about the B-410HLF Cabinet
With its four specially designed 10" speakers, 1" horn, and dual front ports for extended low end, the Ampeg B-410HLF was born to rock hard and low. Suitable for most sizes of venues, the 4-Ohm enclosure handles twice the power of the B-410HE and features heavy-duty recessed handles and detachable casters. The extended range of the B-410HLF makes it ideal for 5- or 6-string bass players seeking solid low frequency performance (all the way down to 40Hz), with shimmering top-end up to 18kHz.
The rear jackplate features two 1/4" jacks wired in parallel, allowing for easy daisy-chaining from one speaker to another. Either jack can be used as an input or a through connection. The 3-position HF Horn switch allows for full high frequency output (0 setting), -6dB reduction of the highs (-6 setting), and Horn shutoff (off setting).

Bought this cab to give me a little bit more from my Ampeg PF500 which had been running through a pf115 cab . I now get a full 400 watts at 4ohms and the cab definitely gives a good range of tones and it is not that much bigger or heavier than the PF series cabs. Maybe a pf115 and pf210 combined might have been marginally better, but that's two cabs and twice the cost, the B410 is definitely a great good value Ampeg cab and although I can't add additional cabs due to the 4 ohm load, I guess if I ever need more than 400 watts the venue would probably have a decent PA to di into. .

This cab fulfills all the criteria. Although it has some physical depth, it's overall dimensions coupled with its user friendly weight make it easy to transport and the added touch of a set of wheels just makes things easier. Then there's the sound. Rich smooth with a classy top end bite where needed thanks to the switchable horn and bags of punch. A bit like the eyes in the Madonna painting, the sound follows you all around the room. The sound level is uncannily similar from five feet to thirty feet away. It's cool slightly retro look finishes off the package. At the Andertons price and their nine months interest free deal, this is without a doubt one of the best purchases I have made in over forty five years of making my living from music. bob Poole.
