This 1x15 Cabinet is perfect for pairing up with the Ampeg Portaflex Bass amp heads. The coolest thing about Ampeg Portaflex cabs is the flip top design which means you can safely transport your Portaflex head inside the cab, and just flip the top over when you get to the gig - ready to play in seconds.

Drawing from the classic design of Ampeg's legendary Portaflex cabinets, the PF-115HE combines vintage styling with the performance of a modern 450W cab. The Eminence 15" driver pushes out true Ampeg tone. Since it's a Portaflex, you can attach any PF Series head to the top, flip it inside and hit the road Ampeg style.

Bought with a PF500 head for rehearsing and recording so not looking for a gigging amp. The sound is great - loads of depth and plenty of detail (with or without the switchable horn).
Could easily be gigged in anything but an out and out rock band and I'll be using it for some small gigs.

Really nice retro look, sounds great. Comes with sturdy removeable castors, which can be stored inside the cabinet in a zipped bag.
I bought this to go with my PF-500 and PF-210HE (Which I also purchased from Andertons). They are nice lightweight Cabs, and obviously you get the Ampeg "mojo". The addition of the tweeter (which can be disabled by a switch at the back of the cab gives you the option to vary the sound to suit your style.
Very pleased with this set up so far - good quality, great sound, and looks the part!

I bought it along with the PF500 amp which I've attached using the fliptop feature which makes it great for transporting and storing.
So far I've always used it with the HF horn on, I'll experiment in due course, but so far I'm very satisfied.
I can't justify it yet but in an ideal world I'd match this with the 2x10.
Build quality is top notch but I'm going to order an amp cover in due course just to prevent the vinyl/tolex finish covering from gettin ripped or otherwise damaged.
