Strictly speaking this guitar is aimed at the travelling guitarist, but because of its 3/4 size, it's also ideal for children wanting to start playing a steel string guitar. Although most children will start on a nylon string guitar (because nylon strings are softer on your fingers), there are some who want to play a steel string & for those people this is ideal. It also comes with a really good quality gig bag.
