The AA series is the brother of the incredibly popular AAX series. The range differs mainly in that not all of its cymbals are given the 'brilliant' shiny finish that is the trademark of the AAX range. The AA range has a large variety of top range cymbals to offer, including all the normal crashes, rides, hi hats and effects cymbals, but also with some of it's own distinctly different latin focused cymbals. The first choice of a number of pros (including Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers), it only takes playing one of these finely crafted instruments to see why they're so popular. From dark to bright, shimmering to shuddering, you'll find a way to fit one of these in. This pack contains 14" Hi Hats, a 16" Crash and a 20" ride. (All Metal-X)
Here's what Sabian say about the AA Range
AA cymbals combine musicality and energy for sounds that are bright, bold and explosive. Reinforced with the power and strength of multi-rolled, secret-process bronze shaped under 75 tons of hydraulic pressure, AA delivers with inner strength and outer energy. Cool for retro, right for now, these highly durable cymbals move a lot of air in any kind of music. From the Latin flavor of El Sabor to models that rock, swing, and groove, AA is extremely versatile.
