The AAX range is arguably one of the most popular cymbal series' ever made. It's not hard to understand why it's used by so many touring and recording professionals. Incredibly bright and articulate in the smaller models, however; as the cymbals get bigger and the darkness pushes through, a wave of sound shimmers and punches hard at the same time. Although perhaps too heavy for use in Jazz music, any other situation will allow the playing of these cymbals with very satisfying results. These cymbals are similar in appearance to Zildjian's A Customs, but the difference is huge once you've played them. Crashes, Splashes, Hi hats and Rides are not all that's on offer, the range has expanded to allow such experimental cymbals as the O-Zone crash to join its ranks. If you're looking for a new cymbal of any kind, it's thoroughly recommended that you give these a try.

With its streamlined design and sound-shaping Auto-Focus Response feature, AAX is the ultimate breakthrough in modern cymbal making. Tap with your finger or thrash with a stick, Auto-Focus Response maximizes sensitivity, equalizes high & low pitch levels, and purifies sounds by filtering out conflicting overtones.
