YAMAHA RBX270 Electric Guitar This is a 4 string bass guitar. It has two single coil pickups, neck P-style; bridge J-style. Volume, pick-up balance and tone controls.
It has a 24 fret neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The headstock is painted black and has two tuners on each side. The neck has a D shape and is thin, which ensures excellent playability. It has a fender-style bridge.
Rather unique is how beautiful it sings on the D and G strings past the seventh position.
The entire instrument is very well finished.
This definitely is one of the best bass-guitars for a starting bass player. It sounds great, it plays very comfortably, stays in tune well and is inexpensive for the amount of bass guitar you get. Wipes out most of the competition in the same price range and some above.
Manufacturer Description
The RBX270 is a lot of bass at a really keen price. Standard RBX features include a 34in-scale neck with full two-octave fingerboard, with excellent up-top access provided by the wide-cutaway contouring of the solid alder body.
The combination of powerful split coil and single-coil bar pickups is a favourite among many bass players, and offers an extensive range of sounds via the instruments pickup balance control. A choice of five cool colours is an added attraction.
