The First Act VE 591 Electric Guitar is the world’s first guitar designed with analog preamp modeling. Expertly engineered to play directly through a stereo system, a desktop recording console, a mixing board, a computer’s mic jack, a pair of headphones, or rock it old school through a guitar amplifier.

The VE591 is designed with proprietary V-Stack analog modeling technology. That’s analog, not digital. While the rest of the world’s electronic devices now offer a digital format, the VE591 is so far ahead that it went back in time. A digital guitar can be cold, glassy, or unresponsive, but analog is organic, sensitive to the touch of a light strum or a heavy strum. It can sound crystal clean, a little rock ‘n roll dirty, or like full-on metal. It sounds better and it feels better.
It’s real, organic, warm tone, like vintage tube amps in classic rock songs. Modeling means that the output of your guitar has been “modeled” to sound like a real guitar amplifier. When it’s plugged into anything other than a guitar amp, it sounds like it’s plugged into a guitar amp! The First Act VE591 pickups feature the right Alnico V magnets, wound with 42-gauge copper wire for a monstrous sound. 500k potentiometers, .022 capacitors, and enough precision technology to make your head spin.

The body shape was designed in the First Act Studio For Artists custom shop, made of basswood for warm, meaty, resonant tone. Well balanced single cutaway with excellent high fret access.
