Yamaha DTXpress IV Electronic Drum Kit

The Yamaha DTXpress IV kit is a step up from the popular DTXplorer kit. The brain is upgraded & has more drums sounds to choose from & a better set of editing features. The cymbal pads now look like actual cymbals & a different sound is triggered when you hit the bell rather than the edge of the cymbal. The snare pad is called a 3 zone pad - that means it reacts differently depending on where you hit it - like a real drum would. It's still simple to use & more compact than an acoustic kit. The DTXpress IV is an ideal kit for silent practice or as a studio kit that is used to trigger any type of midi device.

The Standard Set is compact but covers all the basics with 3-zone snare and hi-hat pads and 3-zone round cymbal pads.
