Behringer PMP5000 Powered Mixer
The Behringer PMP series of powered mixers are new for 2007. They are feature packed & offer excellent value for money. In the AB tests we've done against the slightly more expensive Yamaha EMX series we found that the Behringers performed very well, but that the Yamaha's did have a bit more power & clarity. That said, we still feel that the Behringer PMP powered mixers are well worth the money & for any small band looking to put a PA system together on a budget, there isn't anything better on the market. As far as reliability is concerned we've had no trouble at all with the new Behringer PMP series & as long as that continues we'll have no problem in recommending these amps. There is also a fantastically well priced new range of passive speakers from Behringer called the Behringer Eurolive S series - these are ideally ideally suited for use with the PMP series powered mixers.
