The Roland E-09 raises the quality standard bar for entry-level arrangers, there are very few keyboards on the market that posses so many high quality features at such an affordable price.
With 61 full size, velocity sensitive keys, 64 voice polyphony and full MIDI capability (GM2 & GS), the E-09 sits nicely in a recording/computer based set-up and is equally at home as a standard home keyboard.

16-Track Looping Recorder
The on-board 16-Track Recorder is a handy tool that is perfect for teachers and students when learning how to play a particular song, the performance can be recorded with or without the arranger accompaniment, and students can then refer to the recording as a guide. The tempo can be adjusted accordingly so that rehearsal at a slower speed can build up confidence - sections can also be looped which is ideal for practicing complex pieces. The Roland E-09 is a great aid for budding song-writers and allows the composition to be auditioned with different rhythms and instrument voicings. However perhaps best of all, it’s a self contained unit with no need for external sequencing units/software.
Built-In Keyboard Speakers
The E-09 is a robust yet light-weight unit, its black metallic finish, coupled with a slim, sexy, streamlined chassis design makes the E-09 both eye catching and easy to transport. It also outputs an impressively big sound from its built-in stereo speaker system, and is therefore the perfect option for playing at home without an external amplified source. It also sports two headphone inputs, or alternatively it can be connected into an existing amplifier set-up via its stereo line outputs.
