Arturia Jupiter 8V
The Arturia Jupiter 8V is the highly-anticipated software recreation of Roland's famous Jupiter 8 analogue synthesizer which was in production from 1981 to 1984. The classic 80's Roland Jupiter 8 was a synth that not only inspired a generation of musicians ranging from Prince to Howard Jones, from Depeche Mode to Moby, it was also a unique machine that offered a sharp and crystalline sound whilst somehow also being uniquely 'phat' in its own special way, with a bass end that could bring down the house!
With the Jupiter-8V Arturia brings this magic back. Based on the latest version of TAE - Arturia's award-winning proprietary technology for analogue emulation - the Jupiter-8V offers a new generation of features. The integration of effects within the synthesis line allows for drastic modifications of the original sound; with Galaxy, a graphical tool made to program two LFO's in the same time, you get a unique and innovative source of modulation; and with the modulation sequencer you can create new evolving sounds extremely easily. The Arturia Jupiter-8V is loaded with more than 400 presets made by a selection of top musicians. Fully compatible with the main protocols and systems in use in the musical instrument industry today, it can be used as stand-alone software or as a virtual instrument within a compatible host sequencer / DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).
Main Features:
- A unique audio structure featuring 2 oscillators per voice (16 oscillators in total), 2 LFO's, 2 filters and 2 envelopes
- More than 400 high-quality and innovative sounding presets
- Up to 32 voices of polyphony, and a Unison mode
- Keyboard split and layer
- A set of 'analogue sounding' effects: Dual Delay, Phaser andFlanger (all three being largely modulable by any audio source in the synth)
- 2 digital effects, X and Y
- Additional live-oriented Step-Sequencer
- Additional Galaxy module for advanced modulations
- Set to control from your external MIDI keyboard in just a few clicks
- Full compatibility with major formats and hosts on Mac OS X and Windows XP (VST, AU, RTAS)
Arturia ARP 2600V
The ARP 2600 is one of the finest analogue synthesizers ever made. Celebrated by the most respected musicians over the last thirty years, it is capable of creating amazing sounds thanks to the exclusive ARP technology. The ARP 2600 can be operated with or without patchcords since all of the functions are internally wired and can be controlled via sliders and switches. Due to this approach users can use the system simply while creating some of the wildest and most musically expressive analogue sounds ever!
With the ARP2600V, Arturia brings this powerful analogue synthesizer back to life. In addition to the original functions, MIDI control, polyphony, and the ability to create, save and recall presets are all provided. But that's not all: behind the speaker panels are innovative hidden features that take the original design of the ARP 2600 to a new level. Arturia CS-80V
The Arturia CS-80V is the reproduction of the legendary Yamaha CS-80, which is considered by many as the "ultimate polyphonic synthesizer". More than 25 years after its release, the time has come to rediscover a sound that has extensively contributed to the history of music!
When, in 1976, Yamaha introduced the CS-80, the price tag ($6,900) put it out of reach of most musicians, and the weight (220 lbs or 100 kg) made it sometimes hard to use on stage, but the qualities of the CS-80, considered as Japans first great synthesizer, made it immediately famous in the music industry.
The CS-80 was popularised in the late 70's and early 80's by artists and groups like Toto, Jean-Michel Jarre, Keith Emerson, Stevie Wonder, Vangelis and Genesis who helped to turn this synthesizer into a real myth.
The CS-80V offers all of the features from the original synth, plus a new generation of innovative features which take the original design to a new elevated level:
- A modulation matrix
- A multitimbral mode
- An arpeggiator
But is the sound of the CS-80V really close to the original' We would tend to say yes, as the synthesizer is based on TAE, the proprietary technology developed by Arturia, and already successfully used in the Moog Modular V.
Arturia Minimoog V
NAMM convention 1971 - Bob Moog introduces the Minimoog, the very first compact and affordable synthesizer for musicians. With its excellent fat sound and its unparalleled filters, the Minimoog eventually becomes responsible for some of the best analogue synth bass and lead sounds ever.
NAMM show 2004 - Introducing the Arturia Minimoog V, a faithful reproduction of the Minimoog. Offering all the features of the original, the Minimoog V also brings polyphony, MIDI management and presets. But that's not all - beyond the control panel are some additional hidden features: a modulation matrix, a LFO, an arpegiator, a chorus unit and a delay effect.
Thanks to TAE ('True Analogue Emulation'), Arturia's proprietary technology for emulating analogue circuits, the Minimoog V offers an unrivaled quality of sound. Sharp filters, aliasing-free oscillators and soft-clipping guarantee you have the best analogue emulation on the market. The Arturia Minimoog V comes loaded with more than 500 presets made by a selection of talented sound designers and world-renowned musicians, showing off its classic sound and extended features, instantly bringing new dimensions to your musical palette.
Arturia Moog Modular V - Version 2
Ever dreamt of using one of the best synthesizers ever made? Ever dreamt of working with a modular system whose sound is part of musical legend? Arturia, in partnership with Bob Moog, have made it possible with a faithful reproduction of one of the most famous series of synthesizers ever: The Moog Modular.
Because it is modular, the Arturia Moog Modular V offers endless possibilities for synthesis: 9 oscillators, 3 filter slots, 2 LFOs, 6 envelopes, VCAs, mixers, triggers, a 3x8 step-sequencer, etc.
With such an instrument, you can make all types of combinations and create sounds that have never been heard before! The Moog Modular V comes loaded with more than 400 presets made by a selection of the most talented sound designers.
Arturia Prophet V & VS
Arturia has taken the FIRST and LAST synthesizers created by Sequential Circuits and brought them to you in an easy to use software format. As with all their other soft-synths, Arturia have brought you a replica of the originals both visually and sonically.
Using Arturia PROPHET V will be second nature for all you old-pros, and if you're new to the synthesizers, the only thing you'll miss by not having the hardware versions is the workout from transporting them to the studio. Since the PROPHET V is designed with Arturia's TAE technology, you can be sure you won't give up sound quality.
There are three interfaces in the Prophet V: Prophet 5, Prophet VS, and Hybrid mode.
The emulations of the Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 and Sequential Circuits Prophet VS have all the goodies of the originals (5 voice polyphony, white noise modulators, dynamic waveform crossfading with joystick, etc). You can even import any existing preset banks from the original synthesizers in a format called SysEx sound data. This data was one of the truly unique attributes of the original synthesizers because it allowed musicians to save their presets for one of the first times ever. With Prophet V, Arturia have respected this spirit by allowing you to use the presets you've already created in the original synthesizer while playing the synthesizer in its software counterpart.
The Hybrid mode is both synthesizers stacked one on top of the other offering you an entirely new world of possibilities.
