Here's what TC Electronic say about the Voice Tone Correct
Live Engineer and Correction-in-a-pedal Ever noticed as a singer you seldom have control of the sound system and system and often have no sound engineer to help you get a great live vocal sound? VoiceTone Correct will finally satisfy your quest for great live vocal sound. It combines pitch correction with tone and dynamic shaping that put a recorded gloss on live singing.
An incredible amount of live sound research was undertaken in designing Correct, just so that you can trust it as a capable and reliable sound engineer.
Many audience members, band members and sound engineers may be surprised to see a singer taking control over their sound. We think it's about time!
Take Control with Live Engineer Effects Correct listens to your voice and adjusts your tone and dynamics automatically to produce studio quality vocal tone that you and your audience will appreciate. It's like having an experienced and trusted sound engineer using the industry techniques of multiband EQ, compression and de-essing for you, so you get the best sound with the least amount of effort.
Real-time Tuning Guide with Pitch Correction The auto-chromatic pitch correction helps you sing more in tune, much like a metronome helps for playing in time. It's like singing with a singer who has perfect pitch. This lets you know when you're out of tune and you naturally decide to correct yourself, or not.
Enjoy Complete Quality Quality can be witnessed in every aspect of VoiceTone design. Studio caliber audio algorithms, transparent converters and fastidious analog audio design lead to a smooth sound that makes you want to sing your best while your fans get, well, fanatic. It just wouldn't be enough to make products that sound this good without making sure they stand up to the rough treatment they're going to get onstage or kicking around a rehearsal room floor.

Questions about Correct
I don't have a sound engineer or a good PA system, can Correct help? Yes it can. This is the perfect and most common situation for Correct. The intelligent Live Engineering Effects will listen to your voice in real-time, mixing it for an ideal studio vocal sound. Purchasing a better PA system is never a bad thing, but Correct is an inexpensive investment to improve your vocal sound no matter the conditions.
How do I set my sound system settings when using Correct? Generally the best things to do is set all of your sound system's tone controls to their null or middle positions and disable any compressors. Most modern PA systems sound best when the graphic equalizer for the mains is set flat and only used for narrow compensations in poor acoustic environments. Setting your graph flat will help Correct (and your voice) sound the smoothest.
Will Pitch Correction make me a better singer? Being a better singer is really up to you. We wouldn't be respecting everything we've learned about the human voice if we didn't preach that practice makes perfect and that having a coach, mentor or teacher is the number one choice you can make at becoming the 'next best singer'. For more information on your technique sign up for the forum at www.voicecouncil.com and get plenty of helpful advice. That being said, practicing and performing with Correct's pitch correction feature is a great way of improving your intonation. You get to hear when you're out-of-tune. You're in control of making the pitch correction effect go away, by controlling your own pitch. We've seen this work for countless singers at many skill levels.
What are the two outputs for (Main and Guide)? The Main Output is the typical output for use with your sound system. The Guide Output is an alternate output useful when you are singing with a separate vocal monitor like VoiceSolo. The Guide Output is plugged into your monitor and will always contain pitch correction. In this setup, the pitch correction effect can be turned off in the Main Output so the audience only hears your un-corrected voice.
What if we want pitch correction but we aren't tuned to A440? No problem, Correct can self-adjust to any tuning using a unique power up mode. See the Setup Configurations section of the VoiceTone Correct manual for more information.
Can I manually adjust EQ and compression on my voice? Yes, if you're comfortable using more traditional controls for EQ and Compression, read the Setup Configurations, and Using the Effects sections of the VoiceTone Correct manual.
