How much is shipping to my address?

We calculate shipping based upon the weight of the heaviest item in your basket. Please see the tables below to get an idea of UK standard delivery costs. Thousands of items on our site qualify for FREE DELIVERY to mainland UK and if one item in your basket qualifies for free delivery - we'll deliver the whole lot free! Items that qualify for free delivery within the UK mainland may not qualify for free delivery within other UK delivery zones, nor international delivery zones.

Which courier do you use for deliveries?

We use UPS for all UK deliveries with the exception of certain local deliveries.

How long will it take for my goods to arrive?

If we have your item/s in stock and you order before 12 noon on a working day, your items should be with you the next working day for UK mainland deliveries, and within 2-3 working days for other zones. If you order after 12 noon, your order will be despatched the following working day for delivery on the next working day after that. How can I track my order?

You can track your order from the "My Account" page on our website. Please sign in and click on "My Orders" or if you are already signed in, click here to track an order now.

Can I reserve an item online and collect it from your store?

Yes you can. You just need to place a 10% deposit online to reserve a product for store collection. Please read our reserve & collect page to find out how to check out using Reserve and Collect.

 

Do you ship outside of the UK?

Yes. We ship to countries in the EU, British territories and selected international countries. Please create an Andertons account and check to see if your country is on our drop-down list.

If your country is not on the list, we may still be able to ship to you. Please contact us for a quote.

How much is this product in my currency?

We charge for all orders in pounds sterling (£GBP). Your bank will convert the amount in pounds to your local currency using the exchange rate at the time of the transaction. For an estimate of the cost of goods in your currency, please use a service such as xe.com. Please note that using an external currency converter will not show you the exact amount that you will be charged because exchange rates fluctuate all the time!

How much is shipping to my address?

Shipping costs vary greatly between countries and depend on dimensions and weight. To obtain a shipping estimate, add all the products you want to your basket and check out. On step 4 of the checkout process you will see all the delivery options and prices available to your country.

What taxes will I be charged on goods bought from Andertons?

Taxes charged will vary from region to region. If you live within the European Union, we will charge you sales tax (VAT) at the current UK rate. If you live outside the EU we will deduct VAT from your order. You may then be liable for a local sales tax charged to you when you receive your goods.

Please note that other taxes may apply in your country when importing goods from the United Kingdom. Please contact your local tax authority for further details of taxes you might expect to be charged.

How long will it take for my goods to arrive?

If we have your item/s in stock we will despatch your items either on the same working day or the next working day. Delivery normally takes between 4-10 working days depending on your country of residence and the local courier network. For more information, please see our Delivery Page.

How can I track my order?

Click here to track your international order. Please note, from experience we have noted that it can take up to 48 hours after despatch for your order to appear on this tracking system.

 

What payment methods do you accept online?

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Maestro/Solo. You can also check out using Paypal and Google Checkout.

UK customers can also opt to pay using instant-decision online finance. We offer a range of finance options to help you spread the cost of large purchases including the option of applying for 0% interest finance on all orders over £300. All you have to do to apply for a loan is complete a form with some additional details and we will tell you instantly whether or not you are eligible for finance with Andertons.co.uk. If you are approved and you pay a deposit, your order will then be processed as normal. It only takes a few minutes longer than a normal credit card order!

Can I buy this product on finance?

Customers from the United Kingdom can apply for 0% finance on all orders totalling £300 or more. As long as your total basket comes to £300 or more, you can apply for finance!

How do I earn loyalty points?

Every time you shop with Andertons you earn points. Shop in store, online or over the phone and you will earn 1 loyalty point for every pound you spend. Each point is worth 1p off your next purchase at Andertons.

How do I spend loyalty points?

To spend loyalty points online, simply add all the products you want to your basket and proceed through the checkout. Once you have logged in, you will be asked if you would like to spend any loyalty points you have. For more information, see our loyalty points page.

You can also spend loyalty points in store or over the phone.

You have not deducted my loyalty points from the value my order!

If you chose to redeem loyalty points for an order, you have effectively chosen to "part pay" using loyalty points. Because split payments do not show up on our invoices, it may look as if your card has been charged the full transaction amount. However, your bank statement in most cases should show that your card has in fact been charged the correct amount (the value of the transaction minus the value of the loyalty points you redeemed).

How do I redeem a voucher?

Click the "Redeem Voucher" button on the basket page of the checkout and enter your voucher code. This button will only appear if a voucher code is available for the product/s in your basket.

Is it secure to shop on andertons.co.uk?

Yes. All the data you send to us is encrypted and sent over the secure https:// protocol. Our site is SSL certified by Thawte. Look for a padlock symbol such as the ones below somewhere in your web browser. Most browsers will show you details of the security certificate upon clicking the symbol. Please note: the padlock will only appear in secure areas of the site, for example when checking out. Secure areas are denoted by the letters "https://" in the address bar.

 

Is this item in stock?

We show realtime stock levels on each product page on our website. This information is updated every 15 minutes so if our website says we have something in stock - we do!

When will this item be back in stock?

If we have ordered the product from our suppliers, we will show an estimated time of arrival on the product page of our website. The date given is only an estimate, but we do ask our suppliers for updates every week so the date given on this page should be approximately correct.

If we have do not have the product on order with our suppliers, we will show an estimated lead time. This is the time that it normally takes for this particular supplier to send us stock, if they have stock of their own.

There is no estimated arrival date for this item. When will it be in stock?

If there is no estimated arrival date for an item that means we do not have any on order with our suppliers. We can special order items from our suppliers for you. The lead time on special order items varies from supplier to supplier. We will display the typical lead time for the item on the product's page on our website. This lead time represents the amount of time it usually takes for a supplier to send us stock and is not a guarantee that we will be able to source an item for you within this time period.

Can you let me know when this item is back in stock?

Yes! We have a feature on our website that automatically e-mails you when a product you are interested in comes back into stock. If you find an out of stock product on our website, click on "Receive an e-mail when back in stock" in the Availability box on the product's page. Enter your e-mail address and we'll let you know as soon as we have stock.

I have seen this product cheaper elsewhere. Can you match their price?

We aim to remain competitively priced on all the products we sell. However, of greater importance to us is offering you a high level of service which includes the advice and expertise of highly-trained product experts to assist with your purchase, a flexible, painless refund & exchange policy if the item you have purchased is not right for you, and after-sales support in case things go wrong.

That said, we will consider price matches on items if you find them cheaper at our UK competitors. To request a price match, click "seen a better price?" on the product page of the item you are enquiring about on our website.

I want an item that is not on your website - can you get it for me?

Quite possibly, yes. If we deal with the supplier of your product, and the product is current (not discontinued), we can probably get it for you! Just contact us to find out.

We do not deal with every single music supplier but you can take a look at our brands page to get some idea of which brands we regularly sell.

Are your online prices the same as your in-store prices?

Yes! The price you see online is the price you would pay in store and vice versa. We don't differentiate between our web, store or telephone customers and aim to deliver the same high quality service to everyone, regardless of how you prefer to shop.

What is your product reviews policy?

We will publish both positive and negative reviews that are objective, inoffensive and provide useful information about a product to potential customers.

We will not publish reviews that do not offer useful information to potential customers. We will also reject reviews that are not focussed on the product that is under review. Other reasons for rejecting a review may include the use of swearing in the review, politically-motivated or discriminatory statements and unqualified or unfair statements regarding a product, a manufacturer or Andertons Music Company.

In providing our customers with a product review service, our aim is to help our customers make informed choices and differentiate between similar products; not to pretend that every single product we sell is flawless! If you would like to write a review, please remain objective, factual and inoffensive; state your honest opinion and we will most likely publish your review.

Do I need to create an account to shop with Andertons?

No. We offer a quick checkout option so you can add products to your basket and check out without creating an Andertons account. Simply click "new customer" when prompted and fill in your details to place an order.

We will create an account on your behalf the first time that you check out. Your password will be sent to you with your order confirmation e-mail. We will then be able to send you order updates, and to award you with loyalty points for your purcahse.

I have forgotten my password / I never received my password

If you did not receive our initial e-mail containing your password, or if you have forgotten your password, please fill in your e-mail address on this page. We will then send you a password reminder. If you still do not receive your password, please check you junk e-mail folder and contact us.

How do I change the address or contact details on my account?

Click here to log in to your account and click "My details" to see and edit the details that are on our system. When you've finished editing simply click the "update" button to change your registered details.

 

I've placed my order. What happens now?

We will send you an e-mail confirming that we have received your order. If this is your first time shopping with Andertons online we'll also send you a password so you can log in to your account and track your order.

When all the items on your order are in stock, we will despatch your order and send you an e-mail to say that your goods are on their way. If there are any problems or unforseen delays with your order, we will contact you to let you know.

Finally, a couple of weeks after we have sent your goods, we will send you an e-mail asking you to review your purchase. We will publish objective reviews that we think our future customers may find useful.

Some items on my order are out of stock. Can you ship me the items you have in stock straight away?

Yes, if you have paid by credit/debit card or Paypal. Unfortunately we cannot part ship orders paid for using Google Checkout or instant finance. If you want us to part ship your order, just contact us by e-mail or phone. Please note you may be liable for any additional shipping costs.

The item I have ordered has a long lead time. Can I just put down a deposit for now?

Yes. When paying online, we charge your card the full amount initially, whether items are in stock or not. However if you would like us to refund an amount of the transaction and take a deposit against the item (minimum 10%) please call us quoting your order reference number.

If you wish to place a deposit for an item arriving in the future but you would not like us to take the full amount from your card initially, please call us and complete your order over the phone.

 

What is your return/refund policy?

Items can be returned for a full refund if you contact us within 7 days of purchase provided that the item is returned in as-new condition. Items ordered especially at a customers request may be returned at the manager's discretion only.

Items where there may be a hygiene concern if the product is used (e.g. microphones and earphones) may only be returned if the packaging is factory sealed and unopened.

Similarly, software and other licensed items may only be returned if the product packaging has not been opened or tampered with in any way.

What is your exchange policy?

Items can be exchanged for a similar item or store credit (with the appropriate payment adjustment) within 30 days of purchase provided that the item is returned in as-new condition. Items ordered especially at a customers request may be exchanged at the manager's discretion only.

Do items bought from Andertons come with a warranty?

All new items come with a 12 month warranty against manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers offer extended warranties on their products; details will be included with the product. Second hand and B-stock items come with a 3 month parts & labour warranty.

What is your repairs process?

The first step for a repair is to call our store team on 01483 456777. You will then be put through to a product specialist in the field of your product. The product specialist will ask you a few questions and troubleshoot the fault to see if it can be fixed without being returned. With certain products there are a number of solutions that can be tried in order to resolve a fault without going through Andertons or the product manufacturer. Click here for some tips.

If we cannot resolve your problem over the phone, we will then advise you on the appropriate steps you need to take to return the product to us, and also of any charges that may apply if the product is beyond its warranty period.

Alternatively, you can also file a repairs request with us online. Fill in the repairs form and submit it to us and we will get back to you within 1-2 working days. Do Andertons arrange shipping and cover shipping costs for returns, exchanges or repairs?

We will cover return shipping charges only if a product develops a fault within its warranty period. If you need to return an item to us for repair outside of its warranty, you may be liable for shipping costs. Please note we cannot cover return shipping charges for international orders, even when items are within their warranty period.

We can arrange for the collection of goods from UK addresses using our courier if you so wish. You will be asked to cover the cost of collection if you are returning your item for any reason other than a fault with the item.

 

Something is not working on the Andertons website, what should I do?

Please let us know using the contact form below, or by calling the shop. It is often helpful if we know which operating system you are using (for example, Windows 7 or Mac OSX) and which web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer 9 or Firefox 4).

We want to make the online shopping process as easy as possible for our customers so any feedback is much appreciated!
