Position: E-commerce Manager
Rate: £33k - £38k OTE per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious E-commerce/Web Manager to join our E-commerce team. Andertons Music Co is actively recruiting for an E-Commerce professional to spearhead its E-Commerce strategy and significantly develop its online B2C channel.

About the job
You will be part of the management team which is responsible for the strategy and overall online direction of the company. You will have specific responsibility for providing strategic channel direction for online E-Commerce sales growth. Responsibilities will include managing the delivery of SEO, online marketing, affiliate programs, conversion rate improvements, social networking and customer email strategy in order to drive the growth of the business. All of this of course needs to be neatly wrapped around the needs of Andertons customers.

Key accountabilities include:

Full responsibility to agree and meet online sales targets

Lead the Internet team and ensure that the department strategy is executed

Gather and analyse information and make recommendations to further improve the customer on-line experience and the commercial performance of the E-commerce operation

Utilisation of internal data sources and web analytics tools (especially Google analytics) to improve the customer’s transactional experience and to increase the Company's web presence

About you

Proven track record in managing the delivery of:

Search Engine Optimisation

Affiliate programs

Online & PPC Marketing

Email marketing and customer communication strategies

Analytics and site conversion strategies

Online merchandising

Online retail knowledge

Strong Commercial Acumen/Business Skills

Majority of your most recent experience to be in Retail/E-commerce (ESSENTIAL)

Process driven leader

Effective man management

Passionate about music – preferably with some experience of playing a musical instrument

The ideal candidate will be flexible with excellent analytical skills, and outstanding knowledge and experience of B2C E-Commerce Retail.

You will be working in a fast paced, dynamic environment so should be used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines. Attention to detail is essential along with strong communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently both internally and externally. You will have experience in working in a cross functional environment in order to achieve your KPI's.

2 years experience of working as an E-commerce analyst is essential and having gained this working in a retail/E-commerce environment would be an advantage.
