Andertons Delivery Information

The tables below give an indiciation of our delivery charges to the UK. Our standard delivery service to the most UK addresses is a next working day service. If the goods you order are in stock at the time of ordering and we receive your order before 12pm, you should receive your order the next working day. Please see the section below for our definition of a working day.

For orders over £99 our standard next working day delivery service is FREE to the vast majority of UK addresses. Exceptions (remote UK locations and Northern Ireland) do apply.

To calculate the exact shipping cost for an order, please advance through the Andertons checkout. When you reach step 4 (the step where you enter your delivery address) we will show you all the delivery options available to your address.

Is the product I have ordered in stock and ready for dispatch?

We show realtime stock levels on each product page on our website. This information is updated every 15 minutes so if our website says we have something in stock - we do!

If a product is in stock, and we receive your order before 12 noon, we aim to get it out on the same day for delivery the following working day. During extremely busy periods like Christmas, or in unforseen circumstances such as those caused by severe weather, we cannot guarantee the same dispatch and delivery schedule. If your order is time sensitive, please order in good time to avoid disappointment.

If some items on your order are in stock and some are not, you can choose to split your order into multiple deliveries. Simply contact us to do so. Please note: this will incur additional delivery charges. We cannot split orders paid for using Google Checkout or Pay4Later Instant Finance.

Can my order be delivered to an alternative address?

Yes, we can deliver to an alternative address for credit and debit card payments. However, for finance orders we MUST deliver to the billing address. We cannot make any exceptions to this.

For orders made using Paypal, the address you enter into the billing address field will be the address that we deliver to. This does not have to be the card/bank account billing address but we ask that you do use an address verified by Paypal to avoid delaying your order.

Orders made using Google Checkout will be delivered to the default address in your Google Wallet account address book. If you wish to have your order delivered to an alternate address, log into Google Wallet, add the desired address to your address book and set it as the default address. It will then come up as the 'Ship To' address when you checkout at Andertons.

Order before 12 noon on a normal weekday using our standard UK next working day service, and we will dispatch your order on the same day (as long as your items are in stock - check the availability box on product pages to see stock levels for that product). You should receive your order the next working day after we dispatch it.

Order after 12 noon on a normal weekday and we will dispatch your order on the following working day for delivery to you the next working day after we dispatch.

We do not dispatch orders on weekends, public holidays or bank holidays. Our courier will not deliver orders on these days either. These days are not considered "working days" in the context of Andertons' delivery schedule.

For most customers in the UK (with the exception of remote areas, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands), delivery of your order will occur one working day after we dispatch your order. We use two of the UK's largest couriers - UPS and Citylink - to deliver our goods to you. We choose the best courier for the job which depends on type of package and your location.

All orders must be signed for, so please ensure that someone is in to receive your order on the day that it is due. We will let you know by e-mail once we have dispatched your order.

Premium Services

Saturday delivery is available as a premium service to most UK customers, selectable at the checkout stage of our website.

Weekday delivery, guaranteed before 12 noon, is also available.

Delivery Time Examples

• Order on a Tuesday at 10am and you will get your item on Wednesday.
• Order on a Friday at 3pm and your order will leave us the following Monday for delivery to you on Tuesday.
• Order on a Saturday that precedes a Bank Holiday Monday and your order will leave us on the Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday.
• Order on a Friday at 10am and select "Saturday Delivery" in the checkout. Your order will leave us the same day for delivery on Saturday.

UK Remote Areas & Northern Ireland

For customers ordering from the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, or from any other UK Island (except the Isle of Wight), not all the premium services are available, and standard delivery charges may be higher.

Unfortunately we can not guarantee next working day delivery to all of these UK addresses. Delivery to remote areas typically takes 1-2 working days.

Tracking your order

When we have dispatched your order, we will send you an e-mail containing the information you need to track this order with our courier.

You can also get your tracking number by logging into your Andertons account and clicking My Orders.
