JamVOX is an integrated monitor and software system that extracts the guitar from any MP3 and plugs you into the mix of their favorite bands.
JamVOX gives guitarists instant access to dozens of legendary amps and effects all in one easy to use “drag and drop” software interface. Revolutionary Guitar XTracktion (GXT) technology lets you remove the guitar part of your favorite song with the push of a button.
Best of all, you can then take the lead yourself with instant rock star tone! Alternatively, you can extract or isolate the guitar part, slow down the tempo, and practice any style of music without changing the pitch.
JamVOX includes authentic software models, or recreations, of 19 famous guitar amps and 54 vintage and modern effects, so you'll be able to perfectly reproduce the sounds of your favorite guitarists. It also comes with a dedicated full-range USB monitor speaker, so there's no need for complex wiring or any specialized knowledge of computer music. A two-CD 28-song bundle of guitar play-along tracks of famous songs, courtesy of Hal Leonard Corporation, is also included (see table below).

Very nice bit of kit, feels very sturdy & well made not as plastic as i was expecting/fearing easy to install, easy to use, sounds really good, good for blasting out Spotify music too. Only one complaint cant use speaker as a stand alone monitor, ie I would occasionally have liked to able to plug it into my multi effects box, without going through the computer. apart from that really pleasantly surprised

Only managed an hour playing with it so far, but it's amazing. The quality of the preset tones are so much better than I expected and the sonic possibilities are almost endless. Haven't had a chance to explore all it can do yet, but it seems very straightforward to use. Every guitarist should have one!

Brilliant peice of kit! The jamVox is a well constructed monitor that sits nicely beside my laptop. I have found the software very easy to use and already, me and my son have recorded loads of our own tracks using the different amp and pedal combinations. The sound is affected by the guitar you use so the digitisation of the signal does not spoil it at all, and infact, comapring the sound of the "similar" patch to my own gigging rig, they are actually remarkably close. The "song" presets are perfect - just like the record. Downside - well there is alwyas something - its a shame that a footswitch was not included as that means extra purchases to get the absolute most from this equipment, but look on the bright side, thats my Christmas list sorted. Overall, this product has done Vox proud and I will certainly get another when my lad goes to Uni, just to keep us both practising.
