Fender Classic Player Baja Tele (please note picture shown is Desert Sand)

The Fender Classic series is a range of guitars that re create some of the early Fender designs such as the 57 & 62 Strat. The Classic Player guitars are based around the Classic series designs, but have been tweaked a little - and those tweaks have been designed by none other than the Fender Custom Shop Master Builders! From a distance Classic Player Baja Tele looks much like the regular Classic 50s Tele, but when you get up close you'll see the new special features including a soft V-shaped neck, custom pickups with four-way switching, knurled chrome knobs and "Custom Shop Designed" neckplate. The Classic Baja Tele is only available with a laquered maple fret board & in either a Desert Sand or Blonde finish - both look great.

Here's what Fender say about the Classic Baja Tele

With their years of building experience, our Custom Shop craftsmen created a "dream list" of specs, and this customized '50s style Telecaster guitar, designed by Master Builder Chris Fleming, has it all! Special features include a soft V-shaped neck, custom pickups with four-way switching, knurled chrome knobs and "Custom Shop Designed" neckplate.

I have had this guitar for about a month and have played it non stop. I am usually more of a Les Paul fan but I have really wanted a Telecaster so I purchases this one. What attracted me was the vintage blonde with the black pickguard and the original tele saddle with a maple neck. Pickups are a perfect setup with the S1 switch than can give you 3 more sounds including the legendery peter green out of phase sound, as I play a lot of blues and especially Gary Moore this is spot on. It has very chuncky neck that I loved from the start. Not much else I can say about this guitar apart from you must buy one, staff at Andertons were very helpful with my purchase and would defo buy from them again.
