Digitech GNX3000 Guitar Effects Processor
Please note that the final models we have left to sell are all B stock models. This means they are all product returns & the boxes are a little tatty. The products themselves have very little signs of use, and are covered by a full 12 month warranty. All the GNX3000's come with the power supply & manual. When new these units had an RRP of almost £400, so the B stock pricing is great value.
The Digitech GNX3000 Guitar Multi FX Pedal
The Digitech GNX3000 is one of several floor pedal multi FX units available to guitarists. Normally these sell for around the 300 pounds & at that money you'd probably also take a look at the Line 6 Pod XT Live & the Boss GT8. In our opinion the GNX3000 sits somewhere in between these two. Compared to the Line 6 Pod XT Live we all agreed that the amp modelling in the Pod XT live was a bit more authentic sounding, but that the Digitech GNX3000 had a more extensive selection of FX & it was easier to program. Compared to the Boss GT8 we felt that the Digitech GNX3000 sounded better (especially the amp & overdrive settings), but that the Boss GT8 was even easier to use - especially whilst you were on stage.
Here's what Digitech say about the GNX3000
Designed with both the performing and recording guitarist in mind, the GNX3000 Guitar Workstation features Component Based Modeling for the most authentic tone you've ever experienced. Until now, critical listening has been the focus for referencing and reproducing amp models. You got a tone snapshot of an amp that only captured a fraction of what the amp could do. It was like looking at one frame of film from a two-hour movie: beautiful, but incomplete. Component-Based Modeling captures the entire signal path: the cabinet's components and acoustic behavior, the multiple clipping stages, the power feedback and tube saturation characteristics, and the speaker and output transformer interaction. Even cabinet size and composition are factored in. It gets the whole picture, so you get the whole tone. The end result not only sounds like the amp you want, it acts like the amp you want whether playing with a soft touch or digging in. It's an amp modeling breakthrough that must be heard to be believed.
